| Sister Soldiers Foundation began as a support group in New York City with the mission of friends helping friends. The foundation takes its name from the idea that the love and bond shared by sisters is one of the strongest and most significant relationships possible. And that the feeling of sisterhood can expand beyond those immediately related to us and include those female friends with whom we share the devotion and trust common to all sisters.
Sister Soldiers Foundation came together to empower those fighting breast cancer to reach out for support and to provide a necessary resource for those offering support.
Today, Sister Soldiers Foundation has expanded its reach within the community by planning and hosting fundraising events that raise money to provide free mammograms to women in need.
