Sister Soldiers Foundation (SSF) began with the simple yet enduring ideals of love, support and sisterhood. And in our hearts, we remain a support foundation - support for our sisters, support for women in need to get a free mammography and support for everyone to increase their awareness of breast cancer and how it can affect themselves, their family and friends. After realizing the positive effect we can have in our local community, Sister Soldiers Foundation set out to reach a wider network of women.

Today, Sister Soldiers Foundation is a grassroots advocacy, educational and support organization dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer issues and providing resources for women in need to receive free mammograms at local hospitals and health care providers.

Sister Soldiers Foundation, along with other breast cancer foundations and organizations across the United States, is a member of the National Breast Cancer Coalition, headquartered in Washington, DC.
